The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. Below, you will find copies of the federal law used to train education personnel and to answer any parent questions about the law. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. alissa@encompassacademy.org
